CCJ supports cultural agreement between Brazil and Burkina Faso

The commission of Justice and Constitution and Citizenship (CCJ) approved on this Tuesday (30) the agreement for cultural cooperation between Brazil and Burkina Faso, executed in Brasilia, in 2009. According to the text set forth in the Legislative project Decree 2838/10, both countries shall develop activities which contributes to promote the mutual knowledge about their cultures. The repporteur, deputy Zenaldo Coutinho, voted by the constitutionality of the proposal.

Among other measures is the interchange in segments of movies and broadcast, especially in terms of research, development of joints to catalog the productions.

As per the Agreement, the cooperation action shall respect the cultural, racial and linguistic diversity of each country.

Cultural sponsorship
The text also set forth that Brazil and the African country shall join to impede the illegal transference of good which are part of their respective cultural equity. It shall be given special attention to protection of artist works

Furthermore, the signatory shall invest in qualification of teachers to disseminate the cultural and educative content from each country.
