The Chamber and the Assembly of Cape Verde sign cooperation treaty

The President of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies, Michel Temer, and the President of the National Assembly of Cape Verde, Aristides Raimundo de Lima, celebrated on Tuesday (15th) a cooperation treaty in the legislative area. The agreement provides exchange of information and joint actions in legislative process, budget, administrative management, human resources and informatics activities.

Lima said, during the ceremony to sign the protocol, that the support of Brazil over the last years changed Cape Verde from the world’s poorest countries to a middle-income country. He believes that this new effort of cooperation will create new opportunities to bond the relation between both countries.

Cape Verde Representative will become acquainted, during the week, with the operation of The Floor and committees, the library and the electronic voting system management of the floor Ulysses Guimarães. In addition, Aristides Raimundo de Lima will meet the consulting staff and representatives of the General Management and of the Social Communication Secretariat of the Chamber.
