CCJ approves agreement on economic cooperation with Czech Republic

On Tuesday (28), the Committee on the Constitution and Justice and Citizenship (CCJ) approved an agreement on economic and industrial cooperation between Brazil and the Czech Republic, which was presented as the Legislative Decree Bill 1386/09, proposed by the Committee on Foreign Relations and National Defense.

Aiming at expanding and diversifying bi-lateral cooperation, that agreement provides for the actuation, especially in the sectors related to power; agricultural-industrial and forest; automobile, airspace and goods industry; Information Technology; environment protection technologies; transportation systems; technical standards, certifications and metrology.

That agreement also provides for the creation of a joint committee, which should meet periodically to discuss themes that are interesting to the two countries. Its rapporteur at CCJ, Deputy Mauro Benevides (PMDB-CE), defended the approval of that bill.

Procedure
The bill will still be analyzed by the Committee on Economic Development, Industry and Commerce, and by the House Floor.
