EcoChamber
In 2003, the Chamber of Deputies created the Committee on Socio-environmental Management – EcoChamber, believing that it must contribute to the government in strengthening actions towards a new development model, which should be economically viable, socially just and less harmful to the environment.
In this way, the Chamber’s contribution follows these guidelines:
- The incorporation of these principles into their own administrative and operational activities.
- The approval of laws which are capable to boost the principles of Sustainable Development.
Our mission:
To integrally promote the socio-environmental management in the Chamber of Deputies, encouraging, guiding and consolidating sustainable actions in order to contribute to the preservation of the environment.
Our vision:
To be a center of excellence in the promotion, articulation and multiplication of environmental actions in the governmental sphere.
